AROCA DEL PINAR SOCIMI, S.A. (Aroca) has been promoted by Harbert Management Corporation (HMC). HMC is a US investment company which invests in both listed and unlisted companies and in real estate, both in the US and Europe, where it has offices. HMC has $7.4 billion in Regulatory Assets Under Management as of April 30, 2020. Aroca was incorporated on 17 December 2018 and runs under the Spanish SOCIMI special tax regime. It invests in both, office and commercial assets through their wholly owned subsidiaries (Billball Centre Investment SLU, Ballon Investment SLU, Castellana Norte Investments SLU).
ASSETS
Ballonti Shopping Centre was acquired in July 2019, a modern covered 52,661 sqm shopping centre located in the municipality of Portugalete in northern Spain, within Bilbao’s metropolitan area. The shopping centre also includes a hypermarket as well as a petrol station adjacent to the centre.
Castellana Norte Business Park was acquired in February 2020. A 44,069 sqm Business Park consisting of four office buildings located at the beginning of the A-1 motorway, in the Las Tablas submarket, immediately north of Madrid’s CBD and adjacent to the Nuevo Norte city redevelopment.
